Transcor was founded in 1947 as a metals trading company in Belgium and has evolved through acquisitions and organic growth into a large international supplier of energy commodities. Its principal businesses include the refining, storage, distribution and trading of crude oil, oil products, natural gas, coal and coke. Transcor Astra Group is also active in the Alternative Energy sector.
The Group operates world-wide, covering North America, Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia through 10 locations employing approximately 500 people.
