From Pearce Real Estate: Barbara L. Pearce, CEO and President of Pearce Real Estate, today announced that the "Coats for Connecticut" was a big success with Pearce collecting 82 coats.
Pearce Real Estate partnered with Best Cleaners, Channel 3 Eyewitness News and the Salvation Army as a collection location for "Coats for Connecticut." Best Cleaners cleaned and delivered the donated items to the local Salvation Army, which is experiencing a higher than usual demand for winter coats and jackets, especially in children’s sizes. The demand is in part due to the influx of flood victims from Puerto Rico. Coats for Connecticut has collected, cleaned and delivered more than 76,000 coats since the campaign’s inception in 2008.
This is another occasion for our Shoreline agents to demonstrate their involvement in the communities in which we live and do business," said Nanette Pastore, who is the Manager of all Pearce residential offices. "Collecting coats is a way to give back to our community, and that service is an important part of our culture at Pearce."
